"We seek to create a life transforming learning
environment that will mold young men and women
into future leaders for Tanzania...
men and women whose lives fully reflect the
character qualities and leadership principles
embodied in the life of Jesus.

Set in the foothills of Mount Meru, 30 mins from Arusha town, the Cornerstone Leadership Academy Tanzania is off to a great start. Having opened in 2011 and just graduated its first class of students this year (2013), it is our youngest school. This school maintains the same co-ed approach as CLA Rwanda.

Students of the Cornerstone Leadership Academies are admitted on a scholarship basis only, in that, out of thousands of applicants each year scholarships are awarded to the best 25 boys and 25 girls each year to make up the entire class cohort. Students who receive these scholarships do not pay school fees.

Classes offered for 2013:
Academic subjects offered are History, Geography, English Language, Kiswahili, Maths, Economics, Physics, Chemistry and General studies.

In addition to the academic subjects in English - students must be willing to participate in sessions covering Discipleship Materials, Character Development, Leadership Principles and Social Events.

Co-curricular activities:
In addition to academic subjects, students must participate in our character development curriculum in which we teach the timeless, universal principles like forgiveness, honesty, integrity, compassion, kindness, hard work, humility, and service to the less fortunate - as exemplified in the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth (Nabi Isa) and the perennial wisdom of all traditions.

Religious affiliation:
We are not affiliated to one religious group in particular but encourage a diverse student population represented by all tribal and religious backgrounds found in Tanzania.
